I slipped out of bed and landed on a foot stool. Using my knees is very painful. I knew I needed help and I pushed my Life Alert button. A very kind [dispatcher] answered and called my son who lives very close. He stayed on the phone with me while my son came in a matter of minutes. The [dispatcher] made sure I was okay and called me back in about 15 minutes. I had no injuries.
